This program provides relief to borrowers whose residences are uninhabitable because of flood, fire, storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other federally
declared natural disasters. FEMA provides listings reflecting specific affected counties and cities and the corresponding disaster declaration dates.

If the borrower’s home was deemed uninhabitable (rent or own) from Hurricane Harvey or Irma:

1. Borrower will be eligible for a No Down Payment FHA Loan (FHA loan limits apply)
2. Seller can pay 6% of purchase price toward pre-paid and closing costs.
3. Down to 500 credit score allowed and derogatory credit after event may not be considered.
4. Borrower does not need to buy a home in the disaster area.
5. Existing homeowners and renters are eligible to participate in the 203(h) program.
